MUSICIANS

"Musicians" was a quick shot in a bar taken in Laussane. I love this image because it is timeless and marks the start of the "Collection of Multi-layering Photography" in 2004. Musicians is one of my first experiments, when shooting two or three times over the same film. I documented each shot with the aperture and speed. Then I pulled out the tip of the film and started again shooting on that same film; keeping consistency. I worked with high-intensity films like E100, fuji chrome. This multi-layered photograph was taken with an analog camera and a 100 black and white negative. Painting planes creates dimension on a flat surface. Multi-layering images in photography work in similar ways giving depth to the subject.
